On June 12th, these three dedicated golfers will take on a meaningful and heartfelt journey—walking 100 holes of golf in one day at Mighty Oak Golf Course—all to raise awareness and funds for an incredible cause: Team Suzy™.

This effort is part of the 100-Hole Hike, a sunup-to-sundown endurance event honoring caregivers across Michigan who support loved ones with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. This isn’t your typical 18-hole ride in a cart. We’re talking 100 holes. On foot. In one day.

Why? Because for caregivers, every day can feel like the longest day. That’s why we’re stepping up on June 12th, just ahead of the summer solstice, to reflect the strength, resilience, and commitment caregivers show every single day.

Team Suzy™ is a Michigan-based nonprofit that provides grants to ease the financial burden on caregivers—giving them the chance to rest, access vital resources, or receive help they wouldn’t otherwise have. They’ve also teamed up with Michigan Humane to offer support animals to caregivers at no cost.
